CHAPTER 3: Internal Analysis: Strengths, Weaknesses, and Competitive Advantage

Internal analysis considers two of the critical questions of strategy: How does a firm create value and how does it sustain its competitive advantage. The chapter describes how a firm’s internal resources (assets) and capabilities (processes) work together to create and deliver value for customers. Internal analysis completes the SWOT by focusing on a company’s strengths and weaknesses.
